Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA Service applications, services, and extensions using Clean Core development principles
• Design and implement upgrade-stable SAP solutions using modern development approaches, including ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5
• Support end-to-end SAP Service processes, including service quotations, service orders, service confirmations, service contracts, billing, and follow-up processing
• Contribute to SAP CS / SAP CRM Service modernization initiatives and migration scenarios towards SAP S/4HANA Service capabilities
• Develop and optimize technical solutions supporting service management processes and integration scenarios across SAP Service, SD, billing, technical objects, and logistics processes
• Maintain and enhance existing ABAP developments in classic SAP landscapes, including ABAP 7.x-based service-related applications where required
• Design reusable APIs, extension layers, and semantic data models aligned with SAP Clean Core principles and released SAP objects
• Collaborate closely with service process experts, architects, product owners, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support for SAP Service applications and related integration scenarios
• Support code reviews, testing activities, technical documentation, deployment processes, and Agile delivery practices
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to international SAP transformation, rollout, and modernization projects

Professional Competence:

• Professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service development and Clean Core engineering principles
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Cloud, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Clean ABAP, and maintainable software architecture concepts
• Hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5 development
• Experience developing SAP S/4HANA Service solutions and understanding of service-related business processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP CRM Service or classic SAP service-process development patterns
• Experience with ABAP 7.x development and maintaining existing service-related ABAP applications in legacy landscapes
• Experience developing and supporting service quotations, service orders, service confirmations, service contracts, billing, and follow-up processes
• Experience with integration scenarios between SAP Service, SAP SD, billing processes, technical objects, and logistical processing
• Knowledge of APIs, extension points, and SAP released objects for service-related development scenarios
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Service modernization initiatives and migration from SAP CS / SAP CRM Service influenced solutions
• Hands-on experience with technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and modernization of existing SAP solutions
• Experience with technical documentation, testing, code reviews, deployment activities, and development governance
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative software delivery practices
• Knowledge of Field Service Management integration scenarios is considered an advantage
• Experience with service billing document request concepts is beneficial
• Knowledge of CRM WebClient-related legacy landscapes is considered a plus
• Experience with Free Style UI5 and JavaScript development is beneficial
• Knowledge of ABAP Unit, automated testing, and quality assurance practices is considered an advantage
• Experience with SAP BTP event-driven integration patterns and modern integration approaches is beneficial
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Service with Advanced Execution scenarios is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and international delivery teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Logistics IT, or a related field
• SAP Development certification, SAP S/4HANA certification, SAP TM-related certification, or SAP BTP / integration certifications are considered an advantage
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level) is required; German language skills are considered an advantage
