Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:

• Responsibility for the strategic purchasing of flame-cut and laser-punched parts and complex welding assemblies/ electrical components;

• Planning, development and initiating of commodity groups strategies;

• Be part of cross functional teams with the areas of development, cost Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain;

• Contract and price negotiations with the supplier.

Therefore, a successful candidate would have:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Engineering or comparable;

• Many years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position in industrial purchasing;

• Strong industry and product knowledge and a high technical affinity;

• Experience in risk assessment, management through key figures and in the creation of strategies and reports;

• Business fluent in (German = advantage) and English;

• Confident appearance, strong implementation skills and great negotiating skills;

• Willingness to travel and intercultural competence;
