Your main responsibilities:
- Analysis of the international procurement markets in terms of e. g. price, quality and economic situation
- Selection of suppliers including inquiry, negotiation and awarding processes
- Supplier- and capacity management
- Organizer and execution of cost workshops
- Scouting of new suppliers
- Responsibility for corporate-wide procurement of various electronic components
- Development and implementation of global purchasing strategies, considering in particular cost and timeline targets
Therefore, a successful candidate would have:
Education
- Successfully completed studies in:
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Administration
- Supply Chain Management
- Or a comparable field
Professional Experience
We welcome candidates from different seniority levels:
- Entry Level: less than 2 years of purchasing experience
- Expert: 2–5 years of experience in strategic purchasing
- Senior Expert: more than 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of SAP MM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in procurement and supplier management processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Industry Knowledge
- Experience in the electrical/electronics sector is highly desirable.
- Technical understanding of products and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
Language Skills
- English: Advanced
- Additional European languages are considered an advantage.
