Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sanctions list screenings and document verification in line with international regulations
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance checks to prevent legal and operational risks
  • Provide expert support for business transactions related to customs and export control laws
  • Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
  • Conduct tariff classification for goods in accordance with legal requirements
  • Maintain and update customs- and export control-related master data
  • Work with systems such as SAP, MIAS, and platforms supporting German and European entities, including JH Profishop (DE & CH)
  • Support supplier qualification processes
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification compliance

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field (customs specialization preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in customs and export control
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, and sanctions compliance
  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP GTS, or other ERP systems
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Access)
  • Fluent German (written and spoken) – mandatory
