Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain authorization concepts within SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori (BTP Apps) environments
• Develop scalable, compliant, and business-oriented role and authorization structures across SAP systems
• Ensure adherence to internal governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Analyze authorization-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams to define authorization requirements
• Manage and optimize authorization frameworks within SAP BTP, SAP Build Work Zone, and related IAM solutions
• Support audit activities by providing authorization documentation and ensuring audit readiness
• Conduct authorization reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure secure access management while balancing business needs and compliance requirements
• Communicate complex authorization and security topics effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Professional Competence:
• Professional experience in SAP authorization management, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts and role design
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori authorizations and SAP BTP applications
• Knowledge of SAP Build Work Zone, Xiting XAMS, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Proven experience creating audit-compliant and scalable authorization structures
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, security, and compliance requirements within SAP landscapes
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in authorization troubleshooting, error analysis, and root cause evaluation
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and audience-appropriate manner
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in project and service-oriented environments
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across different functions and departments
• Solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
• High level of quality awareness and commitment to secure, compliant system operations
• Fluent English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage
