Responsibilities:


• Develop modern, high-performance, highly available, secure, and user-oriented business applications on SAP BTP using CAP (Node.js), JavaScript/TypeScript, Fiori Elements, and Freestyle UI5
• Design, build, and enhance end-to-end digital solutions supporting Manufacturing & Assembly business processes
• Contribute to software architecture design and ensure scalable, maintainable, and cloud-native application development
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical experts to deliver production-critical industrial solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure application reliability, performance, and stability
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering application design, implementation, and support processes
• Deploy, operate, and continuously improve SAP BTP applications and services
• Maintain, optimize, and extend existing applications within the SAP BTP and CAP technology landscape
• Support rollout projects and scaling initiatives to meet growing business and operational requirements
• Participate in 2nd and 3rd level support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Work effectively within interdisciplinary and international teams in support of the organization's digital transformation initiatives

 

Professional Competence:


• Professional experience in fullstack development on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) development using Node.js
• Advanced knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) and data modeling concepts within SAP ecosystems
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for enterprise application development
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Elements and extending applications using the Flexible Programming Model
• Experience in Freestyle UI5 development and building modern SAP user interfaces
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and experience designing scalable, maintainable, and high-availability applications
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence for development lifecycle management and team collaboration
• Understanding of application deployment processes and cloud-based software delivery practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments
• Experience working with highly available and business-critical systems and applications
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data models and business processes is considered an advantage
• Basic knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and OData services is beneficial
• Experience with industrial production or manufacturing-related SAP solutions, such as SAP PP, is considered a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in international and cross-functional environments
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical departments
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant SAP BTP, CAP, Fiori/UI5, or cloud development certifications are advantageous
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level) is required; German language skills are considered an advantage
