SAP BTP CAP Developer

Your main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on SAP BTP using CAP and Node.js.
• Build responsive and user-friendly applications with Fiori Elements and Freestyle UI5.
• Extend Fiori Elements applications using the Flexible Programming Model.
• Develop and model business services using Core Data Services (CDS).
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
• Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.
• Collaborate closely with international product owners, developers, and business stakeholders in agile teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high code quality through best practices, version control, and documentation.
• Stay current with emerging SAP technologies and industry best practices.

Therefore, a successful candidate would have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Strong experience developing applications with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Node.js.
• Solid knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience developing applications with Fiori Elements and extending them using the Flexible Programming Model.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and modern development practices.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with new technologies.
• Very good business English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Freestyle SAPUI5 development.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Understanding of the SAP S/4HANA data model and business processes.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
