Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance SAP TM and GTT related applications, services, and extensions in SAP S/4HANA using Clean Core development principles.
• Design and implement upgrade-stable SAP solutions using modern development approaches, including ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5 technologies.
• Implement API-driven and event-driven integration scenarios for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), carriers, logistics networks, and external partners.
• Develop and optimize logistics integration solutions across SAP TM, SAP GTT, SAP SD, SAP LE, SAP MM, and adjacent supply chain processes.
• Design and develop interfaces and connectivity solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, integration services, and cloud-based integration patterns.
• Build reusable APIs, Clean Core compliant extensions, semantic data models, and released object-based developments aligned with SAP best practices.
• Contribute to transportation execution, logistics visibility, event reporting, freight collaboration, and tracking scenarios.
• Support solution architecture decisions related to enterprise integration, scalability, system connectivity, and technical design.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, requirements engineers, architects, product owners, functional consultants, and agile delivery teams to implement logistics and transportation requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, optimization, and technical support for logistics applications and integration scenarios.
• Support code reviews, technical documentation, testing activities, deployment processes, and development governance practices.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to international SAP transformation, rollout, modernization, and logistics integration projects.
Professional Competence:
• Professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and Clean Core engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Cloud, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Clean ABAP, and maintainable software architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5 development.
• Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) processes, data models, and related logistics execution scenarios.
• Knowledge of SAP TM Customizing, BOPF, PPF (Post Processing Framework), and Web Dynpro development concepts.
• Experience with SAP Global Track and Trace (GTT) and logistics visibility solutions, including event-to-action integration concepts.
• Practical experience with API-based system integration, carrier connectivity, LSP integrations, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of logistics integration scenarios across SAP SD, LE, MM, and transportation execution processes.
• Experience developing custom ABAP solutions supporting transportation, tracking, visibility, and logistics collaboration processes.
