SAP ABAP Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Develop and enhance applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Support and optimize integrations between SAP S/4HANA and PP/DS functionalities, including heuristics-related development topics
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and development solutions
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, APIs, and custom applications
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery
• Support system deployments, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
• Contribute to the digital transformation of enterprise planning and supply chain processes

Professional Competence:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, preferably within SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development and hands-on experience with ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
• Good understanding of SAP PP/DS processes and related development concepts, including heuristics
• Experience creating reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, APIs, and custom SAP applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working in international project teams and cross-functional environments
• Knowledge of SAP PP processes is considered an advantage
• Experience in performance optimization and advanced SAP development concepts is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage
• Independent, solution-oriented, and proactive way of working
