 Main duties:

• Development of modern, high-performance, secure and user-oriented business applications in SAP S/4HANA using RAP and Fiori Elements according to the specified guidelines, particularly adhering to our Clean Core paradigm.
• Enhancing standard processes using the given S/4 extensibility
• Participation in the creation of the software architecture
• Execution of reviews in the development team
• Creation and execution of unit tests
• Creation of technical documentation
• Deployment of the application
• Maintenance and extension of existing applications in the mentioned technology stack

Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP): Must have deep expertise in RAP, the central development model for modern, cloud-enabled applications in S/4HANA, enabling the creation of Fiori apps and services.
• Advanced Understanding of Core Data Services (CDS): Must have a strong background in modeling and querying data in S/4HANA using CDS views.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Fiori Elements and its Extensibility using the Flexible Programming Model: Must be proficient in developing and extending SAP Fiori elements apps using the Flexible Programming Model, which allows for custom code and controller logic to enhance standard functionalities.
• In-depth Knowledge of ABAP Cloud: Must adhere to the rules of “ABAP Cloud” as ABAP version, enforced through compiler and runtime checks, ensuring the use of only supported ABAP statements.
• Proficiency in Public APIs and Extension Points: Must be highly skilled in utilizing the public APIs and extension points published by SAP to extend SAP objects without modifying the core system.
• Expertise in ABAP Development Tools (ADT): Must possess significant experience using ADT as the development environment, which provides a modern IDE for ABAP development.
• Good Understanding of SAP Application Extension Methodology (AEM): Must have a solid grasp of the SAP Application Extension Methodology
• Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.
