Main Duties:

  • Support operational management of SAP as a cloud provider and service partner
  • Track, document, and manage contract-related changes (services, scope, costs, licenses)
  • Coordinate internal approval workflows and ensure alignment with budget and procurement processes
  • Monitor SAP service consumption, license usage, and associated costs
  • Support Software Asset Management (SAM) and License Management (LM) activities for SAP solutions
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, licensing rules, and usage rights
  • Support invoice verification, goods receipt processes, and cost allocation activities
  • Prepare regular reports on license usage, costs, and contract status for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal service owners, procurement, finance, and SAM teams
  • Support medium- and long-term planning of SAP contracts and license requirements
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of SAP provider management processes
  • Act as operational backup for the Contract & License Manager

Profile Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or equivalent
  • Experience in SAP contract management, SAP licensing, or Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Good understanding of SAP cloud services and operating models
  • Experience working with IT vendors, contracts, and cost tracking
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Basic understanding of financial and procurement processes in IT
  • Fluent German (required for contract discussions and vendor communication)
  • Good English skills for internal collaboration
  • Contracts and negotiations conducted in German.
