Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:

  • Ownership of key figures and core topics such as material cost changes, payment terms, operating expenses, and investments to successfully manage the procurement departments
  • Analyzing business development, deriving recommendations for action and tracking measures as well as coordinating planning and extrapolation
  • Monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting the planning and extrapolation processes in the central business units and local units
  • Preparation of target/actual analyses and derivation of recommendations 
  • Preparing reports and presentations for the top management
  • Support the development of central procurement processes and tools; act as a key user for a procurement tool, responsible for user administration and optimization
  • Collaboration in projects / take responsibility of sub-project management
  • Perform SAP and BW analyses, managing large data sets and delivering ad-hoc evaluations such as supplier claims and purchasing volumes
  • Back-up for correspondent role in the HQ

 

Requirements for success:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering, preferably with a focus on controlling, production & logistics
  • Several years of relevant professional experience within a manufacturing/production environment are required, while experience in plant controlling or similar functions is preferred
  • Experience in material and logistics controlling as well as project management is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken  German and English skills
  • Level of seniority/experience:  > 5 years of experience
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (modules CO and MM), SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BW is preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical, structured and independent way of working
  • Creative mindset combined with a strong drive for results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Confident personality with proven ability to manage stakeholders with strong opinions
