Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute integrated communication concepts for international trade fairs and live events, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
  • Lead the strategic positioning, messaging, and customer experience for large-scale exhibition booths and live communication formats.
  • Align trade fair and event concepts with global marketing and sales strategies, ensuring strong brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Support and optimize sales-oriented event formats, including customer events, executive tours, product launches, networking events, and live demonstrations.
  • Manage international exhibition and event projects from concept through execution, including budget ownership, timeline management, and supplier coordination.
  • Coordinate external agencies, stand builders, technical providers, hotels, travel partners, and logistics suppliers.
  • Organize and coordinate accommodation, transportation, and hospitality logistics for large international groups, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the key interface between Marketing, Sales, Product Management, regional subsidiaries, and external partners.
  • Ensure a consistent and professional global brand presentation across all markets and event formats.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, including booth setup, live operations, dismantling, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with venue regulations, safety standards, and international logistics requirements.
  • Track and evaluate KPIs such as lead quality, pipeline contribution, customer engagement, and media reach.
  • Support CRM integration and digital lead capture processes during exhibitions and events.
  • Drive continuous improvement of trade fair and event processes through innovation, digital tools, and interactive technologies such as AR/VR applications, visitor engagement tools, and lead tracking systems.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Media & Communication, Business Administration, Event Management, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, relevant professional training and equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Live Communication, Event Marketing, Trade Show Management, or related fields within an international B2B environment.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale international trade fairs such as LogiMAT, ProMat, or comparable industrial exhibitions.
  • Experience in hotel management, hospitality coordination, and handling logistics for large international groups and events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex international projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of logistics, intralogistics, automation, or industrial technology industries is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong operational mindset combined with a customer-oriented and sales-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with high intercultural competence.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style with excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Very good MS Office skills; SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and support on-site event operations globally.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
  • German language skills are considered a strong advantage (“nice to have”), as the role involves close collaboration with German-speaking sales teams and stakeholders.
