Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:

  • Ensure the correct and reliable operation of Market to Order processes and supporting systems across global markets.
  • Analyze end-to-end business processes and system interactions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and potential risks.
  • Design, optimize, and document processes, ensuring that business requirements are correctly translated into practical system and process solutions.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CRM, CPQ, SAP ERP, and related Pre-Sales solutions.
  • Monitor and investigate system and process issues, perform structured root-cause analysis, and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze the interaction between processes, systems, products, pricing, customer and master data, identifying dependencies and potential impacts across the sales process.
  • Support system testing, releases, enhancements, and changes, ensuring that new functionality works correctly from an end-to-end business process perspective.
  • Validate solutions against both global standards and local market requirements, identifying deviations and assessing their impact.
  • Act as a key interface between Business, IT, Product Management, and local markets, translating business needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions.
  • Provide expert support to end users for Pre-Sales and Market to Order systems and help resolve complex process and system-related issues.
  • Contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of customer, product, and other master data relevant to the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve global processes and system functionality.
  • Support the development of global process documentation, guidelines, and knowledge bases.
  • Develop and deliver training and knowledge-transfer sessions for users and stakeholders worldwide.
  • Contribute to international projects involving process transformation, system enhancements, integrations, and digitalization of sales processes.

 

 

Therefore, a successful candidate would have:

  • University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in business processes, business analysis, IT, systems, or process management.
  • Strong understanding of how business processes and IT systems interact, ideally in a sales, manufacturing, or product-related environment.
  • Experience working with CRM and/or CPQ systems; knowledge of SAP ERP is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand complex end-to-end processes and identify how changes in one system or process can impact other areas.
  • Experience in system troubleshooting, error analysis, root-cause analysis, testing, and incident/problem resolution.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear process, functional, or system requirements.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders and within cross-functional or project-based environments.
  • Good understanding of master data and its role in ensuring reliable business processes.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to distinguish between process, data, configuration, integration, and user-related issues.
  • Good project management skills and the ability to coordinate topics across multiple stakeholders.
  • Very good IT skills; experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, SQL, Java, or Adobe is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of issues from problem identification through root-cause analysis to resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, interdisciplinary environment and communicate complex system and process topics clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
