IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s IT and communications systems, the implementation and maintenance of IT solutions in alignment with Jungheinrich Group standards, and providing support to internal users.
Location: Ploiești, Romania
This role involves close collaboration with the central IT department and contributes to the continuous improvement of IT processes and infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities:
• Operate in compliance with internal operational procedures, company policies, and instructions received from the hierarchical line.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the company's IT and communication systems, and implement IT solutions according to Jungheinrich Group requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the central IT department for implementing new technical solutions and optimizing existing ones.
• Provide necessary support to users during the implementation of new solutions and occasionally afterwards.
• Ensure the functionality of the company’s data infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the computer network and IT infrastructure.
• Maintain and regularly update the internal IT inventory database, including equipment, users, software, and licenses.
• Install and configure hardware and software systems within the company.
• Offer technical support to PC users for daily operations, upon request.
• Implement IT procedures and technologies as established by the group.
• Coordinate the implementation of new processes and constantly seek improvement opportunities for existing ones.
• Ensure the maintenance of the company’s security and access control systems.
• Maintain IT equipment in optimal working condition.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and helpful attitude towards colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information, including salary and benefit data, and handle similar information about colleagues discreetly.
• Strictly observe data confidentiality and corporate secrets.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the direct manager or company leadership, provided they are legal.
Therefore, a successful candidate would have:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, hardware, and software;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Server administration and infrastructure monitoring;
• Configuration and operation of WIN10, WIN11, and Windows Server;
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining IT systems and devices;
• Excellent communication skills for providing technical support to users;
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
