Requirements for success:

• University degree with major in finance / accounting
• 3 – 5 years of professional GL experience and 2 - 4 years subject-specific experience (design and optimization of accounting process in GL area)
• Responsibility within month end closing activities is a plus
• End-to-end process knowledge in accounting, especially general ledger
• Participation in projects for process standardization, automation and harmonisation, including being part of a transition from R3 to S4 is a plus
• Moderate knowledge in fixed assets is a plus
• Very good knowledge in SAP R3 or S4, especially module SAP FI
• Experience operating in global and matrixed organization
• Language: Fluent English, German is a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint and JIRA
• Good knowledge in IFRS, Knowledge of German HGB and EStG is a plus

​Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:

• Design and optimization of general ledger processes in SAP S/4HANA within the group’s digitalization program
• Solution development and realisation for process improvements
• Takeover of a global and cross-functional Business-Process-Lead function for general ledger processes, as well as support of data owners for developing corresponding data objects
• Recording of requirements regarding a global process template and local process variants
• Support of global, regional and local process owner with content and process knowledge
• Design, modelling and responsibility for fulfilment of global GL processes
• Creation of user stories and test concepts including testcases and execution of user test within the new SAP S/4HANA system
• Responsibility and enforcement of account governance in S/4HANA as well as in the current ERP System (SAP R3)
• Provide support to the global process owner for fixed asset accounting
