Your main responsibilities:

  • Implementation of pricing and maintenance of relevant master data for German and European units with SAP connection, VIES and for the JH Profishop (DE+CH)
  • Participation in the evaluation of the product strain (assessment of whether products are subject to sustainability requirements, such as the CBAM, EUDR, Ecodesign Regulation,.. for example)
  • Support in operational customs clearance / close cooperation with colleagues in the Import department at Jungheinrich
  • Support in the preparation of the monthly Intrastat declarations for German JH units by collecting the relevant data from SAP ERP
  • Support in requesting (long-term) supplier declarations to determine the origin of the goods and ensure the international movement of goods (export and import)
  • Support in customs inspections for the area of tariff classification.   Therefore, a successful candidate would have:
  • Completed vocational training in the field of customs law, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with professional experience in the field of customs and tariff classification.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Access) and SAP ERP, SAP GTS or other ERP systems.

  • Good written and spoken English skills, German is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team, organizational talent, entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving skills and service orientation.
