Application Management Specialist

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as the key contact person for assigned applications and digital solutions.
• Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business applications.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into practical solution concepts and coordinate implementation activities.
• Coordinate enhancement requests, testing activities, and software releases.
• Collaborate with business departments, IT teams, key users, and external vendors.
• Create and maintain documentation, process descriptions, user guides, and training materials.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Support end users, perform initial issue analysis, and coordinate resolution activities.
• Accompany testing phases for new processes, enhancements, and system changes.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Ensure high-quality application support and a positive user experience.
• Work across a broad range of topics and applications, adapting responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Your Profile

• Experience in Application Management, Business Analysis, Process Management, SAP-supported business processes, or related digital solutions.
• Good understanding of end-to-end business processes in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with enterprise applications such as SAP and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Office).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Comfortable working at the interface between business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, organized, and proactive working style.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned topics and applications.
• Flexibility and willingness to familiarize yourself with new business areas and technologies.
• Experience with agile ways of working is considered an advantage.
• Fluent English skills; German is considered a plus.
