Your main responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously improve the central AI Agent Repository.
  • Ensure every AI agent has: a documented business purpose, accountable owner, risk classification, permission model, lifecycle status, governance documentation and evidence.
  • Develop and maintain governance standards, policies, approval workflows, and lifecycle processes for AI agents.
  • Translate regulatory requirements (including the EU AI Act) and internal policies into practical operational controls.
  • Define governance requirements proportionate to the risk profile of each AI agent.
  • Coordinate AI agent qualification and risk assessments.
  • Define evidence requirements, approval criteria, review cycles, and escalation thresholds.
  • Ensure appropriate human oversight, access controls, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Design and operate an accelerated governance process for low-risk AI agents.
  • Standardize reusable controls and define clear criteria for when enhanced governance is required.
  • Monitor ownership, permissions, usage, data access, control effectiveness, and lifecycle compliance.
  • Coordinate remediation of governance gaps, material changes, ownership issues, and security or compliance incidents.
  • Support suspension, remediation, and retirement decisions where necessary.
  • Support AI agent owners through templates, guidance, training sessions, office hours, and best practices.
  • Promote responsible AI development and governance across the organization.
  • Foster an active governance community and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Develop governance dashboards and management reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs including: governance coverage, AI adoption, portfolio health, business value, ROI, hours saved, cost avoidance, governance efficiency, risk reduction.
  • Provide recommendations to AI Office leadership based on portfolio insights.

 

Therefore, a successful candidate would have:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Law, Compliance, Information Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of Generative AI, AI agents, agent architectures, AI platforms, permissions, data access models, human oversight, and AI solution lifecycles.
  • Experience in governance, risk management, compliance, internal controls, or operational governance, ideally within AI, technology, or digital transformation environments.
  • Good understanding of the EU AI Act and emerging AI governance frameworks, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured, detail-oriented working style.
  • Experience with reporting, KPI development, dashboarding, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
