About the role

Automation is playing an increasingly important role within intralogistics. As Country Manager Sales Development, you are the specialist in automation within Jungheinrich Netherlands and Belgium. You have a strong understanding of the Dutch and Belgian markets, identify commercial opportunities and know how to translate our international strategy into concrete actions for the local market.

You combine strategic thinking, market expertise, business development skills and strong opportunity qualification capabilities. You build strong relationships with customers, consultants and other key players in the market, ensuring that opportunities in the field of automation are identified and developed at an early stage.

What will you do?

In this role, you are responsible for further strengthening our position in the Dutch and Belgian automation market. You combine strategic insight with a strong commercial drive and work closely with both external stakeholders and colleagues across our sales organization.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Market expertise & Go-to-Market strategy: You are a specialist in the automation market and translate Jungheinrich’s global Go-to-Market strategy into concrete commercial actions for the Netherlands and Belgium. You use market intelligence, competitive insights and data to identify opportunities and support decision-making.

  • Business development: You proactively identify and develop new automation opportunities by focusing on strategic customer groups, target accounts and specific market segments.

  • Network & visibility: You represent Jungheinrich at relevant conferences, events, trade fairs and industry associations. In doing so, you strengthen our visibility in the market and actively build strategic relationships.

  • Stakeholder management: You build and maintain a strong network of consultants, real estate companies and other relevant stakeholders within the market.

  • Sales channel reference: You are the key point of contact for automation within the commercial organization, enabling and guiding regions and branches in identifying, developing and jointly pursuing automation opportunities.

  • Lead qualification & pipeline management: You manage and develop the lead pipeline, visit promising prospects and make structured GO/NO GO assessments.

  • CRM & opportunity management: You ensure high-quality registration and management of leads and opportunities and contribute to an accurate and reliable sales pipeline.

Who are you?

You have a strong commercial and strategic mindset, while also enjoying being hands-on and operational. You are curious about developments in the market, naturally build connections and know how to engage others around automation opportunities.

In addition, you bring:

  • A completed technical or business-related degree, preferably in logistics, automation, intralogistics or a comparable field;

  • Strong knowledge of automation solutions, market developments and business development within a complex B2B environment;

  • Strong analytical skills. You are able to translate market information, competitive intelligence and data into concrete commercial actions;

  • The ability to build strong and long-term relationships with customers, consultants, industry associations and internal sales colleagues;

  • A structured approach to lead qualification, opportunity management, CRM and pipeline management;

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different disciplines;

  • Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, events, trade fairs, workshops and meetings with other stakeholders;

  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English. C1-level English is preferred. Knowledge of French is a plus.

  • Financial acumen is preferred: you can confidently engage with CFOs and other financial stakeholders on business cases, ROI and investment decisions.
